miwuu terms of use

Version 1.0 · In force from 4 November 2026

Summary

  • miwuu is for people aged 18 and over who want to meet others with respect.
  • Your content is yours; you give us permission to show it inside miwuu and nothing more.
  • Purchases are made on Google Play. Credits don't expire and are not money.
  • If you break the Community guidelines, we can suspend or close your account, explaining why and with the right to appeal.

1. Who we are and what you accept

miwuu ("we") provides this service (Oscar Sanchez Medina, see Legal notice). More details in the Legal notice.

By creating your account you accept these Terms and the Community guidelines. The Privacy policy explains what we do with your data; you don't need to accept it, but we ask you to read it. Permissions for protected data are asked for separately, each with its own box.

2. Who can use miwuu

You can use miwuu if:

If the app store tells us you are a minor, you won't be able to create the account. If we find that an account belongs to a minor, we may close it.

3. Your account

4. Community guidelines

By using miwuu you agree to follow the Community guidelines. Among other things, the following are not allowed:

5. Your content

Your photos, texts and answers are still yours. For miwuu to work, you give us a non-exclusive, free, worldwide and limited licence to store them, adapt them to the app's format (for example, making photos smaller) and show them to other people on miwuu as you choose. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except what we must keep by law or for safety (see the Privacy policy).

We don't use your content in advertising or outside miwuu.

Only post content you have rights to. If someone posts something of yours without permission, report it from the app or at miwuu.com/en/retirar-imagenes.

6. Safety

7. How we show you profiles

We show you profiles based on your age, the distance and the filters you choose, and on what the other person is looking for.

8. Plans, passes and credits

Where you buy. All purchases are made through Google Play and are also governed by its terms. Prices are shown before you pay, with taxes, in your country's currency.

Plans (Plus and Premium). They are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each period (month or year) at the same price, until you cancel them on Google Play. If you cancel, you keep the plan until the end of the paid period and you aren't charged again.

Diamond. It is a one-off payment. It gives access to the paid features for as long as miwuu offers the service and your account exists.

Credits. They are bought in packs and are used to activate 24 h passes inside miwuu. Credits:

24 h pass. It turns on the paid features for 24 hours in a row from when you activate it.

Right of withdrawal (EU and UK). When you buy, you ask for the service to start straight away.

You also have the legal guarantee: if the service doesn't work as we promise, you can ask us to fix it or, if that isn't possible, a price reduction or a refund.

Restore purchases. If you change phone, use "Restore purchases" in Settings.

9. Moderation, sanctions and appeals

If you break these Terms or the Guidelines, depending on how serious it is, we can:

You can appeal within the following 6 months from Settings › Help and contact › Appeal a decision.

Automated decisions: if a profile is reported by 2 different people, it is suspended automatically (it stops being shown) until a team member reviews it. In the EU you can also go to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or to the courts. It's all in Moderation and transparency.

10. miwuu's property

The brand, the design, the code, the app's texts and the Sintonía questions are ours or belong to whoever licenses them to us. You can use the app, but you can't copy it, modify it or use it to create a similar service.

11. Liability

We do our best for miwuu to work well and be safe, but the service is offered as it is and may have faults or interruptions.

We are not responsible for what other people do inside or outside miwuu. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer or our liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or injury, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

12. Changes to the service and to these Terms

We may improve or change features. The current version of these Terms is the one published here with its date. If you disagree with a change, you can delete your account.

13. End of the contract

You can end it whenever you want by deleting your account. We can close it for a serious breach (see point 9) or if we stop providing the service.

14. Applicable law and complaints

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the laws of your country and can bring a claim before the courts where you live.

Alternative dispute resolution: miwuu is not a member of any alternative consumer dispute resolution body. You can also turn to the consumer bodies of your country (in Spain, the consumer offices of your region or town council).
